"Feeling Good"-A Medicine of Depression

Introduction

Some book titles reveals the matter of the book itself. As same here "Feeling Good" title of the book written by David D. Burns who is specialized psychologist or doctorate in the study of human behaviour and psychology tells a brief enclyopedia of mental illness called DEPRESSION with the methods to cope up with without any recommendations of any  psychologist.            Let's take a summarised journey of DEPRESSION and the methods of its rectification.                                                          In the process of coping out with the individuals  from their mental-illness we have to follow these  principles which are as follows:-

1) Cognitive Therapy:-We all know that to rectify a problem, the first step is to identify that particular problem. This in terms of depression identification problem therapy is called as Cognitive Therapy. This therapy includes the 4 major techniques which are as follows:-

1)Rapid Symptomatic Improvement:-In low depression or milder depressions, relief from the symptoms often observed in a short period time of 12 weeks.

2) Understanding:-Mind is an innocent friend of human which is invisible and can't be determined. Some people thought mind and brain are the same, but brain calculates visible items and mind works upon inner feelings including bad and good emotions. Thus to check up one's individual depression,we have to check that mind is not have an bad imprint of the past happenings,if it so the mind is filled with bad or abnormal emotions and vice-versa.

3) Self-control:-To cope up with depression,it is important to have a self-control.A formative plan is necessary under this strategy with practical and realistic step by step formulation whose application in moods are controlable and effective.

4) Prevention and Personal Growth:-An individual mindset can be changed by the words he/she hear through ears or any incident he/she sees with eyes. Thus eyes and ears are the only medium of change the mindset of the individual. Thus for the person growth of the individual from the hell of depression, the person of treatment has the prior duty to check out his/ her thoughts of the depressed individual and even hear or faces the anger of the individual calmly when the individual shares the feelings and thoughts in front of the treater& after listening to the individual the treater has the duty to realise the importance of the individual in his/her life by the tool of motivating the individual to move on.There are also three main principles under Cognitive Therapy whose implications are important which are as follows:-

1)Moods are created by cognition:-A cognition means thoughts or the perspective our mind do to look over the things. It includes our perceptions, mental attitudes, and beliefs. It includes the way we interpret things. For instance you feel good for someone it is so because of our thoughts thinking about good for that particular person.

2) Negativity results in Depression:-In this principle the main reason of depression is the circulation of useless thoughts due to negativity or any bad force sudden occurs in our mind by seeing bad things,or fearful and unexpected incident.Fear is the soul of depression and in reality there is no existence of fear under the context of spirituality.Great scholars like Lord Krishna's Bhagvad Gita,Kabir,Jesus Christ are the best examples under this context.
