7 Cures of a Lean Purse.                                                  Introduction

Earlier we discuss about the 5 Laws of Gold described by the book "The Richest Man In Babylon",here we discuss about the seven cures of a lean purse which are as follows:-.                                                                                                          1)Start thy purse to fattening:- Arkad the famous merchant of that era said that" For every ten coins  thou placest within thy purse take out for use but nine.Thy purse will start to fatten at once and its increasing weight will feel good in thy hand and bring satisfaction to thy soul." which means if you have 10 coins so we take nine coins into personal use and save one coin at at a time this will increase your purse income invisibly.                                                                                                                                                 2) Control thy expenditures:-  Wealth includes both the head & tail concept of earning and expenditure,to save yourself from the curse of a lean purse we have to control our expenditures which the book explains in a fact written as "Budget thy expenses that thou mayest have coins to pay for thy necessities, to pay for thy enjoyments and to gratify thy worthwhile desires without spending more than nine-tenths of thy earnings."                                                                                                                                    3)Make thy gold multiply:- Gold is the soul of wealth and the third cure of a lean purse as it plays like a colletral security against wealth if invested wisely. This concept is defined as the third cure of a lean purse:-"To put each coin to laboring that it may reproduce its kind as the flocks of the field and help bring to thee income, a stream of wealth that shall flow constantly into thy purse."                                                                                                                              4) Gaurd thy treasures from loss:- The first sound principle of investment is security for the principal as it saves us from the misfortune of loss in future. This concept is defined as"Gaurd thy treasure from loss by investing only where thy principal is safe, where it may be reclaimed if desirable, and where thou will not fail to collect a fair rental.Consult with wise men.Secure the advice of those experienced in the profitable handling of gold.Let their wisdom protect thy treasure from unsafe investments".                                                                                        5)Make of thy dwelling a profitable investment:-This concept focus on the value of own house rather than living like a tenant as own house reduces the cost of living, making available more of his/her earnings for pleasures and the gratification of his/her desires.                                                                                                        6)Insure a future income:- Future depends upon our present decisions we take at a time, thus our future happiness defined by our present investments as it acts like a passive or secured income for future. This concept is defined as"Provide in advance for the needs of thy growing age and the protection of thy family."                                                                                            7) Increase thy ability to earn:-In the book of Rich Dad Poor Dad, the rich dad increases his efficiency to earn more rather than get stuck to the ideology of having a higher income job, as this skill improves an individual to think big and to live like a rich person. This concept is defined as"Cultivate thy own powers, to study and become wiser, to become more skillful, to so act as to respect thyself."
